身为英语教师,最大的幸福是能够用两种语言来表达和指导学生。当汉语的优美,婉转转化成流畅的英文时,当展现给学生另一种语言的美丽时,那是何等的幸福!每每带领学生学习高中英语必修二Module2 NO Drugs,总是情不自禁就向一届又一届的学生讲起康教授的勇敢与坚强,孩子们无不被这感人的事情所触动。笔者认为,在他们的头脑中,已经成功植下了一朵道德之花。英语必修二Module4 Fine Arts,我带领学生们一起体味了Cubism,Impressionism,Pop arts。在欣赏了Picasso的“Be sentenced to death”名画之后,知道了Cubism(立体画派)在描绘物体与人时,喜欢用几何图形从多个不同侧面来展现对象;Impressionism(印象派)的代表大师VG(梵高)的“Sunflowers”又直观地呈现给学生印象派的特色——着重光与色的效果,不看细节;英语教科书是了解世界文化的小窗口,透过它,我和孩子们一起畅游在文化的海洋中,但是教科书并不是我给孩子们的唯一平台,寓文化于一切学习,这有利于学生开拓视野,更有助于增强学生的注意力。
As an English teacher, the greatest happiness is the ability to express and mentor students in both languages. When the beautiful Chinese, mildly transformed into fluent in English, when showing the beauty of the language to another student, that is how happy! The author believes that in their mind, has successfully planted a flower of morality. English Required Module4 Fine Arts, I led the students to appreciate Cubism, Impressionism, Pop arts. After appreciating Picasso’s “Be sentenced to death” paintings, I learned that Cubism prefers to render objects from many different sides when depicting objects and people; Impressionism, Master VG ’s “Sunflowers” visualizes the features of student Impressionism - focusing on the effects of light and color, without looking at the details. English textbooks are small windows for understanding world culture through which I and Children swim together in the ocean of culture, but textbooks are not the only platform I give to children. Culture is all about learning. This helps students to broaden their horizons and helps to increase students’ attention.
