This book includes four parts from “Reinterpretation”, “Contemporary Literature and Art Observation”, “Social Observation and Social Investigation” and “Translated Text”, collecting 20 articles from different disciplines. This book seeks to promote “rooted ” consciousness of “cultural studies ”, so-called “rooted ” consciousness, it is not a simple native feelings, nor is it returning to the old nationalism, but a rooted in China and Realistic problems and work hard to find the conscientiousness and urgency of linking these issues with the problems of economic globalization. Articles published in this book, all belong to have “rooted” consciousness
