作者综述了我国棉花黄萎病发生与为害损失的概况、病害消长规律与气候因素、土壤中微菌核数量的动态关系及其病原菌致病性、生理分化类型、寄主范围、致病机理与品种抗病性机制及防治技术等方面的研究进展,并根据当前黄萎病猖獗为害、北方棉区出现成片病株严重落叶等阻碍棉花生产的突出问题,提出了加强对黄萎病的基础与分子生物学研究以及加速棉花抗病品种选育与有效药剂筛选等综合防治技术研究。
