我院燃烧研究室研制的钝体燃烧器,自从1982年4月开始工业试验以来,已先后在江西、湖南、湖北、山东、广东和广西等六省十二台电站锅炉上进行了工业试验,试验后即投入长期运行。锅炉容量从35吨/时(配6000千瓦汽轮发电机)至410吨/时(配10万千瓦汽轮发电机),试验煤种包括低挥发分无烟煤、半无烟煤和贫煤,以及高灰分劣质烟煤。有关电厂一致肯定了钝体燃烧器具有稳燃、节煤、节油和调峰等效果,并且已积累了一定的运行与测试经验。同时,还有很多电厂打算采用钝体燃烧器,急需了解关于这种燃烧器的原理与设计方法,并就他们的具体设备与煤种提出了种种问题渴望得到解决。
