1998年12月11日是广西壮族自治区成立40周年,1998年又是改革开放20周年,回顾广西有色金属工业40年特别是近20年来的发展,豪情满怀,展望未来,任重而道远。 广西有色金属矿产资源极为丰富,是全国“有色金属之乡”。目前,10种主要有色金属已探明的金属储量达3.75亿吨,位居全国前10名的有7种。其中锡和锑的储量均居全国第一位,分别占全国总储量的32.9％和41.5％,铝土矿已探明矿石储量达6.84亿吨,居全国第三位,锌的储量居全国第四位。
Dec. 11, 1998 marks the 40th anniversary of the founding of Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region and the 20th anniversary of the reform and opening up in 1998. Looking back on the development of Guangxi non-ferrous metal industry for 40 years, especially in the past two decades, it is a long way to go to prosper and look forward to the future. Guangxi non-ferrous mineral resources is extremely rich, is the country’s “non-ferrous metals town.” Currently, 10 major non-ferrous metals have proven reserves of 375 million tons of metal, ranking the top 10 in the country there are 7 species. The reserves of tin and antimony rank the first in the country, accounting for 32.9% and 41.5% of the total national reserves respectively. The proven ore reserves of bauxite reach 684 million tons, ranking third in the country and the reserves of zinc rank the first in the country Four.
