The expression of CD23 and CD40 on B lymphocytes in pleural fluid of patients with tuberculous pleurisy were detected by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). The expression of CD23 and CN40 on B lymphocytes in T lymphocytes and PPD were further observed. The results showed that the expression of CD23 was significantly lower in tuberculous pleurisy patients than in B lymphocyte culture group (P <0.05) after mixed culture of B lymphocytes and T lymphocytes in pleural effusion = 0.80). There was no significant difference in the expression of CD23 between B + PPD, B + PPD + T group and B lymphocyte group (P> 0.05). There was no difference in the expression of CD40 between groups. The expression of CD23 and CD40 during the process of peripheral blood B lymphocyte culture in healthy volunteers was not affected by T cells and PPD. Tip: T cells of patients with tuberculosis CD23 expression of B cells had a significant inhibitory effect.
