Xinhua Daily was first published on January 11, 1938, and it is the 25th anniversary of January this year. Since Xinhua Daily started its publication in Wuhan, I have been an enthusiastic reader. In the grueling revolutionary struggle in the Kuomintang area, I have received cordial guidance and education from the party newspaper. Later came to Chongqing, in 1943-1944 and 1946, fortunate enough to twice participate in “Xinhua Daily” supplement editorial work.
