The International Conference on Groundwater Artificial Replenishment was held in the United Kingdom on September 21-24, 1970. Artificial recharge has proven to be an effective way to replenish groundwater resources in many parts of the world. The meeting exchanged technical experience and evaluated various methods of artificial supplies replenishment.
