词汇是语言的三要素之一,是提高英语听、说、读、写能力的根本途径。英国语言学家威尔金斯曾说:没有语法,表达甚微;没有词汇,表达为零。可见,有效词汇教学是英语课堂教学的重点。本文结合教学实践,分析了初中英语课堂词汇教学中存在的问题,提出了相应的提高词汇教学效率的对策和纠正学生不良单词记忆习惯的方法。
Vocabulary is one of the three elements of language, is to improve English listening, speaking, reading and writing ability of the fundamental way. Wilkins, the British linguist once said: There is no grammar, very little expression; no vocabulary, expressed as zero. Can be seen that effective vocabulary teaching is the focus of English classroom teaching. Based on the teaching practice, this article analyzes the existing problems in vocabulary teaching of junior high school English classrooms, and puts forward corresponding countermeasures to improve the efficiency of vocabulary teaching and methods to correct students’ bad memory habits.
