Standing Committee of the National People’s Congress: On July 17, 1980, my government authorized Comrades Comrade Comrade Kong Keqing, head of the delegation to the World Conference on “Women’s Decade”, to sign the United Nations Declaration on "Elimination of All Women Formal Discrimination Convention. At the same time, the statement does not accept the first paragraph of Article 29 of the Covenant. The convention was drafted by the UN Commission on the Status of Women at its Twenty-sixth Session in 1974 and was reviewed and revised by several UNGASS Working Groups for adoption by the General Assembly in 1979.
