现代主义潮流在中国日渐衰微。一些标榜前卫的、追求国际语言的艺术家陡然之间改换门庭,成了民族文化、本土文化的倡导者和捍卫者。作品从一堆西方现代主义语言符号一下子变成了充满民族传统文化符号的组合。他们似乎始终走在时代最前列,一百八十度的转身让人大跌眼镜。这些自由多变地游走于各种文化潮流之间的艺术家为什么变脸如此之快?导致如此风潮的原因何在?他们追寻的目标是什么?
The trend of modernism is declining in China. Some advertised avant-garde, the pursuit of international language artists suddenly change the court, became a national culture, advocate and defender of local culture. Works from a bunch of Western modernist language symbols suddenly became a combination of national traditional culture and symbols. They seem to always walk in the forefront of the times, one hundred and eighty degree turn people surprise. Why are these artists who swerve freely between various cultural trends so quickly? What causes such a trend? What are the goals they are pursuing?
