确定地层划分和对比,是做好地质工作的基础,是当前科研结合生产工作中的一个主要问题。一般认为古生物是解决地层时代主要的手段,只要地层剖面测得详细,古生物采得系统和深入,鉴定得正确,地层的时代就可迎刃而解。我们认为这是解决地层时代的必要手段,但是仅做到这点是不够的。目前在地层古生物工作中争论的问题很多,都各有一定的古生物和地层的依据,有些甚至罗列许多古生物名称,但地层时代仍然未获解决。不但不同门类古生物的研究者之间各有不同的论断,就是对同一门类、同一种群、在同一剖面所采的化石,各研究单位和人员,亦未必能取得一致的意见。这种矛盾是科学发展中难
Determine the stratigraphic division and contrast, is to do the geological work, is the current research combined with production of a major problem. It is generally believed that paleontology is the main means to solve the stratigraphic age. As long as the stratigraphic profile is measured in detail and the paleontology system is in-depth and correctly identified, the age of the strata can be easily solved. We think this is a necessary solution to the age of the strata, but it is not enough to do just that. At present, there are many controversial issues in the paleontological work in the stratigraphy. Each has its own paleontology and stratigraphic basis. Some even include many paleontological names, but the era of stratigraphy remains unresolved. Not only different researchers in different categories of paleontology have different opinions, that is, fossils, research units and personnel collected in the same section, the same group and in the same section may not necessarily obtain the same opinion.
