张载的《横渠孟子说》已亡佚,当代学者以朱熹《孟子精义》等文献为主要辑录对象进行辑佚。但今日所见《孟子精义》各本皆出自初刻本,并未收录《横渠孟子说》。现存文献中能确定为《横渠孟子说》文句的是《近思录》中收录的数条。此外,《孟子或问》中所论及的张载《孟子》说,有多条未见于现存《孟子精义》、《集注》及张载集,或即《精义》后刻本中所補充的《横渠孟子说》襄的内容。要真实地还原《横渠孟子说》的确切文字,目前还缺乏坚实的文献依据。
Zhang Zai’s “Transverse Channel Mencius” has been lost, contemporary scholars to Zhu Xi “Mencius” and other documents as the main editorial object collection. However, all the “Mencius Literal Meanings” seen today are originated from the beginning of this edition and do not include “Transverse Mencius”. The existing literature can be identified as “cross-channel Mencius said,” the sentence is “near record” included in the article. In addition, Mencius of Zhang Zai mentioned in “Mencius or Q.” said that there were a number of articles that were not covered by the extant Mencius Excerpts, Zhang Zuji, or Zhang Zaiji The “cross-channel Mencius said” Xiang content. To really restore the exact words of “Transverse Ditch Mencius”, at present there is still no solid basis of literature.
