未来,燃烧在汽油机降低燃油耗方面将起到关键作用。英国Ricardo公司应用新型喷束引导燃烧过程的汽油直接喷射方法能使涡轮增压汽油机以非常有利的燃油耗值,在部分运行范围内以典型的柴油机燃油耗值运行。应用这种技术,汽油机能几乎完全无节流地运行,并能在绝大部分的特性曲线场内利用稀薄燃烧的优势。这种燃烧方法燃用汽油运行,也能燃用诸如E85或M40等燃油正常工作。
In the future, combustion will play a key role in reducing gasoline consumption in gasoline engines. The British direct injection of gasoline by Robert Ricardo with a new jet-piloted combustion process enables the turbocharged gasoline engine to operate at typical diesel fuel consumption over a portion of its operating range at a very favorable fuel economy. With this technology, the gasoline engine operates almost completely without any throttling and takes advantage of the lean burn over most of the characteristic curves. This method of combustion runs on gasoline and can also work on fuels such as E85 or M40.
