印度是我国在南亚地区的最大市场,近年中印双边贸易快速发展,2000年双边贸易额为29.14亿美元,同比增幅达到44.696,2001年1-5月,双边贸易额为17.8亿美元,同比增长43%。双边贸易基本保持平衡。目前印度年均经济增长率为6%-7%,每年应增加10%-12%的电力供应,才能适应经济增长的需要。在过去10年间,印度国内外投资金额有1/6用于发电。
India is China’s largest market in South Asia. In recent years, the bilateral trade between China and India has been developing rapidly. In 2000, the bilateral trade volume reached 2.91 billion U.S. dollars, up by 44.69% over the same period of last year. From January to May 2001, the bilateral trade volume reached 1.78 billion U.S. dollars, up by a year-on-year 43%. Bilateral trade is basically balanced. At present, India’s average annual economic growth rate of 6% -7%, an annual increase of 10% -12% of the electricity supply in order to meet the needs of economic growth. Over the past 10 years, India has invested 1/6 of its total domestic and foreign investment in power generation.
