从开始筹划拍摄电影《邓小平》时起,我们一直想在电影作品中创造出一个感性的邓小平形象,却始终未能获得成功,其根本原因,在于我们还是太理性,不是用电影去表达自己对邓小平的直接感受,而是总想对邓小平来一番总结和评价!总想全面的,一处不漏的再现邓小平伟大设计师的形象!未成想这是一部两小时的电影作品无论如何也完不成的任务!说得更透一点,这也不是我们这一代艺术家能够完成的使命,它是需要千百个政治理论家、历史学家、经济学家、作家、艺术家、电影艺术家……多少能人几辈子才能完成的事业。 然而,对邓小平满怀热爱和崇敬的我们,亲身受到邓小平改革开放的恩惠,亲身经历中国翻天覆地的巨变,又有一种责无旁贷的意愿,舍我其谁的决心。
From the very beginning when we planned to film “Deng Xiaoping,” we always wanted to create a perceptual picture of Deng Xiaoping in the film works. However, we failed to achieve success. However, Deng Xiaoping full of love and reverence for us, personally by Deng Xiaoping's blessing of reform and opening up, personally experienced the earth-shaking changes in China, there is a willingness to indulge in the determination of those who love me.
