我站装有四台容量为5000kW的立式水轮发电机组,励磁机型号为ZLS59/17-6,额定电压132V,额定电流468A,额定功率61.8kW,电枢绕组为双波绕组。机组投产三年多来,励磁机各方面都正常,但在励磁机定子线圈、电枢线圈表面及缝隙中填满了与油混合成一体的炭粉,测量励磁机电枢线圈的绝缘电阻在0.3MΩ以下,以致机组不能运转。励磁机炭刷和换向器相互摩擦,不断有炭粉和铜屑掉落,并与推力轴承(上导油槽)中溢出的油混合,在离心力和风的作用下,附着在励磁机电枢绕组的缝隙中,当机组满负荷而温度较高时,则推力轴承中溢出更多的油、汽和落下的炭粉混合,使附着力
