A study said milk tea poses a serious health risk. The researchers invited 16 women to drink half a liter of freshly brewed black tea and half to drink skim milk black tea. Examination of the arteries in their forearms two hours later revealed that there was a significant improvement in the contractile capacity of the arterial walls of those who drank black tea, but the effect on the group of skimmilks was insignificant. Although tea increases blood flow by increasing the contractility of the arterial wall, milk completely hinders this beneficial effect.
