新课程小学英语教学认为学生是课程学习的主体者,也是教师教学的主要对象,更是课堂教学中不可缺少的活力因子。在教学中,关注学生的学习主体地位和作用,不仅是帮助他们提高语言知识和技能的重要前提条件,还是提高课程教学有效性和小学生语言运用能力的重要物质基础。学生的学习主体地位和作用要求教师从学生的语言学习发展需要和他们的认知规律出发,运用多元化的教学思维模式,鼓励学生积极参与课堂教学过程,以此来增强他们学习英语的主动性和积极性,以满足他们的学习发展需要。
