2009年11月4日,备受瞩目的兰(州)新(乌鲁木齐)铁路第二双线在新疆乌鲁木齐市新建二线二宫火车站破土动工。线路横跨新疆、甘肃、青海三省区,全长1776公里,共设31个车站,是目前国内最长的客运专线,建设工期5年。2009年12月,中铁四局五公司进场,承建了新疆段50公里正线施工
On November 4, 2009, the second high-speed rail line of the Lanzhou (New) State (Urumqi) Railway, which was highly anticipated, broke ground on the construction of the second line Ninomiya Train Station in Urumqi, Xinjiang. Line across Xinjiang, Gansu and Qinghai provinces and autonomous regions, a total length of 1,776 km, a total of 31 stations, is the longest domestic passenger line, the construction period of 5 years. In December 2009, five companies from the Fourth China Railway entered the scene and constructed a 50-kilometer frontline construction in Xinjiang
