Objective To detect the serum concentrations of HIF-1α and TGF-β1 in patients with radical gastrectomy and explore their correlation with the recurrence of gastric cancer. Methods Forty patients with radical gastrectomy underwent radical gastrectomy in our hospital. Serum levels of HIF-1α and TGF-β1 were detected continuously at the end of 20 days, after the end of the chemotherapy cycle and at the follow-up period. Statistical analysis was performed to explore the correlation between the levels of HIF-1α and TGF- Relevance. Results The concentration of HIF-1α and TGF-β1 had no correlation with the clinicopathological type and chemotherapy of gastric cancer, but had significant correlation with the recurrence of gastric cancer (P <0.05). Conclusions The serum levels of HIF-1α and TGF-β1 can be used to predict the metastasis and recurrence of gastric cancer by dynamically detecting the postoperative serum levels of HIF-1α and TGF-β1, providing a basis for improving the prognosis of patients.
