本单位在引进清洁级小鼠、大鼠和SPF级豚鼠时,发现空运来的动物常出现不正常死亡和运输箱破损现象。作者认为引种运输应注意以下事项:①防止包装纸箱刺破,以免造成清洁级以上动物的污染。包装箱上可写“无菌动物,切勿破损”字样,避免好奇者刺破箱体。②保证包装箱正常通气,若包装箱侧面透气孔被其他箱子堵住,则箱内动物要憋死。包装箱上可写“勿堵塞侧面透气孔”。如在箱侧面透气孔两边做通到箱子两头的透气槽,则可解决透气问题。③用胶带纸固定包装箱底部纸板,以免小鼠钻到包装箱底的纸板下被压死。
