在17个地、市、县申办1995年第七届全国滑翔伞锦标赛的角逐中,河北省满城县以其优越的地理位置,便捷的交通条件和良好的地形、地貌及气象而一举中标。第七届“保柠杯”全国滑翔伞锦标赛的场地就设在陵山汉墓旅游风景区。陵山位于满城西南约1公里处,坐西朝东,长约2公里。在山体南北两端各伸出一座小山包呈南北合抱之势。陵山海拔高度235.5米,相对高度210米左右。山顶平缓,四周山坡构成30度至60度斜坡,山坡平整,长十余米至数十米,有绿草覆盖,是滑翔伞运动十分理想的起飞场地。陵山南侧建有登山索道,乘缆车上山只需7～8分钟。北侧修有盘山小道,拾阶而上步行至山顶也只要20分钟。
In 17 cities, counties and cities bid for the Seventh National Paragliding Championship in 1995, Hebei Province Mancheng County won the bid for its superior geographical position, convenient traffic conditions and good topography, landform and weather. Peak flat, surrounded by slopes constitute 30 degrees to 60 degrees slope, hillsides, long ten meters to tens of meters, covered with green grass, paragliding is a very ideal takeoff venue. Lingshan mountaineering cable south, take the cable car up the mountain just 7 to 8 minutes. Panshan trails built in the north, pick up the stairs and walk up to the Peak as long as 20 minutes.
