“孝敬”在传统“德治”方略中占有重要地位 ,是“仁之本” ,它分别与政治制度、法律制度、任人制度、教育制度相结合 ,使历代封建统治者在一定程度上实现了“以孝治天下”。在新的历史条件下 ,“孝敬”是“以德治国”的重要内容之一。在现代化建设进程中 ,弘扬优良孝敬传统是家庭道德建设的必然要求 ;是经济发展和社会进步的需要 ;有助于发展“亲族型企业” ;可以淳化社会风气 ;增强中华民族的凝聚力
“Filial piety” occupies an important position in the traditional “rule by morality” strategy and is the “kernel of benevolence”. It is combined with the political system, the legal system, the appointment system, and the educational system respectively so that the feudal rulers of various dynasties have, to some extent, “Filial piety rule the world.” Under the new historical conditions, “honor” is one of the important contents of “governing the country with morality.” In the process of modernization, carrying forward the tradition of filial piety is an inevitable requirement for the construction of family morality; it is the need of economic development and social progress; it is conducive to the development of “kinship-type enterprises”; it can moderate the social atmosphere and enhance the cohesion of the Chinese nation
