双语教学是地方本科院校培养适应社会发展的应用型人才的重要途径。但是地方本科院校在双语教学的实施过程却存在双语教师紧缺、缺乏激励评价机制、外文教材选用处理方式不合适、学生没兴趣甚至害怕学习双语课程等问题。要顺利推广双语教学,确实达到培养外向型应用人才的目标,应用型地方本科院校可在其双语教学的模式和方式上进行改进。如建立双语教学的师资培训、激励和评价机制;正确选择处理教材,采用多种教学工具加强教学效果;分层次加强学生英语应用能力,给予肯定和鼓励提高学习兴趣等以切实提高地应用型地方本科院校双语教学水平和质量。
Bilingual teaching is an important way for local undergraduate colleges to cultivate applied talents adapting to social development. However, there are some problems in local universities such as the shortage of bilingual teachers, the lack of motivational evaluation mechanism, the improper selection of foreign language teaching materials, the lack of interest in students or the fear of learning bilingual courses. To successfully promote the bilingual education, and indeed to achieve the goal of cultivating extroverted application talents, the applied local undergraduate colleges and universities can make improvements in their bilingual teaching modes and methods. Such as the establishment of bilingual teaching teacher training, incentives and evaluation mechanisms; the correct choice of teaching materials, using a variety of teaching tools to enhance teaching effectiveness; level to strengthen students’ ability to use English, affirmation and encouragement to improve learning interest in order to effectively improve the type of place Bilingual teaching level and quality in undergraduate colleges.
