The research on minority literature in Xinjiang flourished and prospered. Its main symbol is that it broke through the boundary between past oral work and folk literature, and took more account of the written literature of ancient writers of all ethnic groups. Since the Third Plenary Session of the 11th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, some classical literary works that have played an important role in the history of various ethnic literature have successively been translated and published.
