The authors retrospectively studied the status of all infertile women in a reproductive center of a university hospital in Israel from 1960 to 1984. Infertility time >1 year, a total of 1197 cases of infertility patients, including 78O cases (6.2%) for the use of procreative drugs group, 417 cases (34.8%) for the non-drug group, the two groups were followed up 14O65 Women’s Year (65.8%) and 7342 (342%). The average number of follow-up studies was 17.9 ± 5.3 years (range, 2 to 35 years). 674 patients (56.3%) had primary infertility and 523 (43.7%) had secondary infertility. Types of infertility are divided into 539 cases (45%) for hormones (such as amenorrhea, etc.), 297 cases (24.8%) for mechanical (such as endometriosis), and 345 cases (88% for men). Unexplained infertility in 16 cases (1.4%). There were no significant differences between the two groups in the type of infertility, age of origin, and age of first visit. The ER and PR levels measured in breast cancer patients were determined to be positive at 10 fmol/mg. All data were statistically processed and the cancer risk was assessed using the standard incidence of colon cancer and the 95% confidence level (CI). Results: A total of 38 cases of infertility were diagnosed as having cancer. There were 25 cases (1.09) and 13 cases (1.O7) of reproductive and non-reproductive drugs, respectively, and the standard incidence of cancer was 1.09 ( Compared with 95% CIO.77 to 1.49, there was no increase in the risk of cancer.
