探究式学习指的是学生构建知识、形成科学观念、领悟科学研究方法的各种学习活动。探究是一种积极的学习过程——“学生去做的事,而不是为他们做好的事”。探究式学习有时也被人们称为“问题导向式”的学习,因此,“问题”往往被视为探究式学习的核心。在对英国的一套中学地理教材《EarthworkS》进行研究后,发现探究式学习贯穿这套教材的始终。从教材的课题呈现方式、课文内在结构、课文栏目设置等几个方面看,无不渗透着探究式学习的思想。这对我国中学地理教学有重要的启示。
Inquiry learning refers to the students to build knowledge, the formation of scientific concepts, comprehend the various scientific learning methods of learning activities. Inquiry is a positive learning process - “what students do, not what they do.” Inquiry-based learning is sometimes referred to as “problem-oriented” learning, so “problems” are often seen as the core of inquiry-based learning. After studying a set of geography textbook “EarthworkS” in Britain, it is found that inquiry learning runs through this textbook. From the textbook presentation, internal structure of the text, the text column settings, etc., all are permeated with the idea of inquiry-based learning. This is an important revelation to geography teaching in middle schools in our country.
