On July 20, 1918, Academician Wu Zhongwei was born in a township teacher’s home in seven houses in Sanjiaoli, Dongying, Jiangyin, Jiangsu Province. This year marks the 85th anniversary of his birth, and it has been more than three years since its death on February 4, 2002.
