喜酸性的盆花常患黄化病(主要是新叶失绿,泛黄白色。初病时叶脉尚有余绿,病重时脉绿也全部消退),治疗方法通常是配制硫酸亚铁水灌根(约2％)、喷叶(约0.5％)。有一次我的鸳鸯(五色)茉莉生了黄化病,用上述方法久治无效,濒于死亡。我采用复合配方、广谱施治的方法试行挽救,两周后它竟死里逃生,并且快速恢复,生长旺盛。以此法对付栀子、山茶、杜鹃等喜酸花卉的黄化病,也同样奏效。
