冯泽芳先生1899年2月20日出生于浙江省义乌县赤岸村。幼年在家乡上学,14岁入金华浙江省立第七中学。1917年毕业,回义乌县任小学教师。1918年考上南京高等师范农业专修科,1921年毕业后继续在东南大学本科学习,并先后在本校兼职当助教及江苏省第一、第三农校教员。1925年毕业后仍担任第一、第三农校教员。1927年任江苏省立通州(南通)棉作试验场整理员和场长,后改为江苏省立棉作试验场,任副场长。1930年到美国康乃尔大学研究院深造,专攻棉花遗传育种,获得硕士和哲学博士学位。1933年回国,在南京任棉业统制委员会技术专员,1934年任中央棉产改进所副所长兼植棉系主任。1938年并入中央农业实验所,任技正兼棉作系主任和云南
Mr. Feng Zefang was born on February 20, 1899 in Chishui Village, Yiwu County, Zhejiang Province. Childhood school in his hometown, 14-year-old Jinhua Zhejiang Provincial Seventh Middle School. Graduated in 1917, back to Yiwu County primary school teachers. In 1918 admitted to Nanjing Higher Normal Agricultural College, 1921 after graduating from Southeast University undergraduate, and successively in our school as assistant and Jiangsu Province, the first, third agricultural school teachers. After graduating in 1925 still served as the first, third agricultural school teachers. In 1927 Jiangsu ProvinceTongzhou (Nantong) cotton test site finishing staff and director, later renamed the Jiangsu Provincial Cotton Factory, deputy chief. In 1930 to the United States Cornell University Institute for further study, specializing in cotton genetic breeding, master’s and Ph.D. Returning to China in 1933, he worked as a technical commissioner for the cotton industry in Nanjing. In 1934 he was the deputy director of the Central Cotton Production Improvement and the director of the cotton plantation department. In 1938 into the Central Agricultural Experiment, as technical and cotton director and Yunnan
