郭沫若在1942年创作的五幕历史剧《屈原》,在中国处在光明与黑暗激烈交战的历史关头,无疑是戏剧舞台史上的精彩之笔。产生屈原的时代虽然已经过去,但是《屈原》一剧的思想、艺术生命,对于今天的广大读者仍具有认识意义和思想教育意义。尤其诗人屈原那热爱祖国热爱人民的火热情怀、嫉恶如仇直言不讳的斗争精神、光明磊落刚正不阿的高尚情操,将长期散发光彩,鼓舞人心。 屈原一剧的成功,不仅是历史的真实和时代精神相结合的成功,也是戏剧舞台上屈原艺术形象塑造的成功,而这典型化的艺术形象又与作品精炼形象的诗歌语言密不可分。
Guo Moruo’s five-screen historical drama Qu Yuan, which was created in 1942, is at the juncture of intense war between light and darkness in China.
