世界各国都有自己独特的民族文化,它凝聚了本民族人民的智慧,同时也体现了本民族的文化特点。民族间的文化差异无疑将影响读者对文学作品的理解和认识。在文化差异的作用下,不同民族的读者对同一部文学作品的理解也不尽相同。因此,若要全面、系统地研究英美文学,就必须重视民族文化差异在英美文学评论中的作用。本文首先分析了英美文学的特点及其发展历程。又在此基础上,从文化内涵、文化载体、人道主义、历史文化等方面,全面探究了民族文化差异对英美文学评论的影响。
All countries in the world have their own unique national culture, which embodies the wisdom of the people of this nation and also embodies the cultural characteristics of their own people. Cultural differences between peoples will undoubtedly affect readers’ understanding and understanding of literary works. Under the influence of cultural differences, readers of different nationalities have different understandings of the same literary work. Therefore, if we want to comprehensively and systematically study Anglo-American literature, we must pay attention to the role of ethnic cultural differences in Anglo-American literary criticism. This article first analyzes the characteristics of Anglo-American literature and its development. On the basis of this, the paper also comprehensively explores the influence of ethnic cultural differences on English and American literary criticism from the aspects of cultural connotation, cultural carrier, humanitarianism, history and culture.
