The application requirements of seamless communication between intelligent substation and dispatching master are discussed, especially the related requirements of IEC 61850 and IEC 61970 shared modeling. The necessity and feasibility of using proxy server mode to realize substation terminal communication gateway are discussed. Proxy server software features and architecture design. The proxy server takes into account the engineering application background of IEC61850 and IEC61970, including the content of modeling methods, configuration methods, real-time database, IEC 61850 client, service mapping, access security control, management and maintenance, hardware selection, etc. Complete, flexible configuration, easy maintenance, as the future of intelligent substation basic front-end communication device for the smart grid heterogeneous systems to achieve seamless connectivity to provide technical support.
