(一)1985年5月初,绵阳市第一届人民代表大会第一次会议和市政协一届一次会议筹备召开。我又从市文化局借用到市委宣传部,从事两会的会务工作;还从市直文化单位抽调部分同志协助我搞会务接待、会场布置、住宿及生活安排。两会的召开,新班子的组成,揭开了绵阳市历史上新的一页。特别是绵阳长虹机器厂厂长王金城同志就任绵阳市首任市长。他上任后,改旧城换新城,大力发展市场商品经济,
(I) In early May 1985, the first meeting of the first People's Congress of Mianyang City and the first meeting of the Municipal Political Consultative Conference were held in preparation.
