Zheng Pijiany(1880—1969),styled Ziqing by himself,was born Wuji-ang county,Jiangsu province.He graduated from Hangzhou SericulturalSchool in 1902 and Went abroad for an investigation of silk in Japan in1903.In the following years after returning to his native land, Mr.Zhengtaught at several schools including Hangzhou Sericultural School,QingzhouSilkworm and Mulberry School of Shangdong Province,and Provincial Shang-dong College of Agriculture.Mr.Zheng became the headmaster of Pro-vincial Jiangsu Women’s Sericultural School in 1918 and held concurrentlythe post of the president of Provincial Jiangsu Sericultural College from
