玉米粗缩病是由粗缩病毒(MRDV)所引起的一种病毒病。主要发生于意大利、捷克、以色列等国。这种病毒病与日本发生的水稻黑条矮缩病病毒(RBSV)所引起的玉米病毒病极其相似。两者都可以侵染小麦、大麦、玉米、谷子和稗草等多种禾本科作物和杂草,而且症状也相似,传毒昆虫也都是以灰飞虱为主。但一般认为玉米粗缩病毒,不能侵染大多数水稻品种,虽然有的水稻品种可以表现出某些症状,但是以有此症状的水稻为毒源,再回接玉米,并不能使病毒复原。而水稻黑条矮缩病毒则能侵染大多数水稻品种。
Corn malaise is a viral disease caused by the cull virus (MRDV). Mainly occurred in Italy, the Czech Republic, Israel and other countries.
