2005年5月9日,崇明中学接受了上海市实验性示范性高中总结性评审。7月初,学校被中国教育发展促进会、中教创新教育研究院、“中国特色教育理论与实践调研”总课题组评为“中国特色教育示范基地”,并给予授牌。再过不久,学校又将迎来她的90岁生日。怀着崇敬和探究的心情,我们走进了崇明中学,走近了崇明中学校长董耀棠。董耀棠,中共党员,崇明中学历史上第17任校长,上海市特级校长,中学高级教师。曾获上海市优秀教育工作者、上海市“我心目中的好校长”、上海市劳动模范、全国优秀教育工作者等荣誉称号。在董校长任职期间,崇明中学形成了“务实创新、追求卓越”的校风,“敬业、爱生、严谨、探索”的教风,“诚实、勤奋、求索”的学风以及“自主教育”的办学特色。尤其是以“自主教育”为核心的一系列科研课题的实施开展,带领崇明中学走上了实验性、示范性高中的内涵建设道路。
On May 9, 2005, Chongming Middle School accepted the Shanghai Experimental Experimental High School Summary Assessment. In early July, the school was awarded “China Model Education Demonstration Base” by China Education Development Association, China Education Innovation Research Institute, and General Task Force of “Research on Theory and Practice of Chinese Characteristics Education”. Soon after, the school will welcome her 90th birthday again. With reverence and exploration, we walked into Chongming Middle School and approached Dong Yao-tang, the president of Chongming Middle School. Dong Yao Tong, member of the Communist Party of China, Chongming Middle School history of the 17th president, Shanghai special principal, middle school senior teacher. Won the honorary title of outstanding educators in Shanghai, Shanghai “my good headmaster”, model worker in Shanghai, the national outstanding educators. During his tenure as president, Chongming High School formed a school spirit of “pragmatic innovation and pursuit of excellence”, a teaching style of “dedication, love and strictness, exploration”, a “honest, hard-working and questing” style of study and running a school of “independent education” Features. In particular, the implementation of a series of scientific research projects centered on “independent education” led Chongming Middle School to embark on the connotation construction of experimental and demonstration high schools.
