盐步位于广东省中部、佛山市南海区东南部,面积26.57平方公里。户籍人口为6.8万多人,外来流动人口11万多人,下辖7个行政村以及1个城区。盐步地处珠江三角洲腹地,处于广佛都市圈的“十里商贸走廊”,毗邻港澳,环境得天独厚。东连广州市,南依广花水道,西接佛山市,北靠珠江水道,广(州)茂(名)铁路横贯境内,三眼桥铁路货场编组站位于盐步。
Salt step is located in central Guangdong Province, Nanhai District, Foshan City, southeast, an area of 26.57 square kilometers. Household population of more than 68,000 people, migrant population of more than 110,000 people, administered 7 administrative villages and a city. Yanbu is located in the hinterland of the Pearl River Delta, Guangfo metropolitan area in the “Shili commerce corridor”, adjacent to Hong Kong and Macao, unique environment. Guangzhou to the east, Guanghua Waterway to the south, Foshan to the west, the Pearl River waterway to the north, and the Canton (state) Mao (name) railway run across the country. The San Yanqiao Railway Yard marshalling yard is located in Yanbu.
