17世纪晚期至19世纪,中固的手绘壁纸向欧洲与美国输出,在欧洲装饰艺术史上起到过一定影响。这是在近代东西方贸易的背景下产生的一门艺术手工业,它的兴起可能与当时中国向欧洲出口的屏风画有关。外销手绘壁纸的装饰风格可以根据其描绘的内容分为三类,其画风根植于中国的工笔花鸟与人物风俗画传统,但在一定程度上已经体现出西方绘画的影响。文章还介绍了外销壁纸的尺寸,包装与使用方法。
The late 17th century to the 19th century, the solid hand-painted wallpaper exported to Europe and the United States, in the history of decorative arts in Europe have played a certain impact. This is an art handicraft industry that emerged in the context of modern East-West trade and its rise may be related to the screen painting of China’s exports to Europe at that time. The decorative style of export-oriented hand-painted wallpaper can be divided into three categories according to the content it depicts. Its style of painting is rooted in the traditional Chinese painting, portraits, and figures, but to a certain extent, the influence of western painting has been reflected. The article also describes the size of the export wallpaper, packaging and use.
