At the end of last year in Beijing, Mr. Xu Zhengfan, from Renmin University of China, purchased a new book titled “Marxism in a Changing Times.” Recently free, carefully read, understand a lot, involuntarily wrote this manuscript. One of my experiences is to put forward a scientific viewpoint on a series of issues in the current “era,” solving a major problem in theoretical research. I remember when I went to Zalantun in the summer of 1997 to attend a conference in which I discussed the current world economic and political situation and contradictions and reached an understanding of the nature of the present era. Several participants discussed this
