近年来,为了更好地促进发展,也为了城市市政建设等考虑,许多城市都纷纷“改路进厅”、“改路进场”,新建或扩建了一大批以租赁摊位为主要经营方式的大型商场。由于这些商场摊位繁多,人员混杂,管理困难、不便,用电、动火较多,可燃物良多较集中,加之消防设施缺乏,火灾隐患大量存在,随时都有发生火灾的可能。必须清醒地认识到租赁摊位商场的火灾危害和处置对策,防患未然。
