1990年4月18日,国务院总理李鹏在上海代表党中央、国务院正式宣布:中央决定同意上海市加快浦东地区开发。浦东开发,已成为改革开放不断深化的象征。如果说深圳特区是对外开放的第一波,那么浦东开发就是继续深化对内改革,对外开放的第二波。浦东开发开放19年来,经济总量增长40余倍、财政收入增长85倍,取得了令人瞩目的成就。
On April 18, 1990, Premier Li Peng of the State Council formally announced in the Shanghai Central Party Committee and the State Council that the Central Committee decided to agree that Shanghai should speed up the development of the Pudong area. Pudong development, has become a symbol of deepening reform and opening up. If the Shenzhen Special Economic Zone is the first wave of opening to the outside world, Pudong development will be the second wave of deepening internal reform and opening to the outside world. Over the past 19 years since the Pudong Development and Opening up, the total economic output has risen more than 40 times and the fiscal revenue has risen 85 times. Great achievements have been made.
