西洋参(panax quinquefolium L.)原产加拿大和美国。一九七五年我国开始进行多点引种试验,一九八○年已初获成功。引种以来,在各有关单位的共同努力下,已基本掌握了西洋参生长发育特性和栽培技术。在药效成分含量、组织结构和药理指标等方面也做了大量工作。但由于各引种地区地理纬度和小气候条件的差异,其越冬情况各异。
Panax quinquefolium L. is native to Canada and the United States. In 1975, China began to conduct multi-point introduction test and its success was first achieved in 1980. Since the introduction, with the joint efforts of all relevant units, the growth and development characteristics and cultivation techniques of American ginseng have been basically mastered. A lot of work has also been done on the content of the active ingredient, the structure of the tissue and the pharmacological indexes. However, due to the geographical latitude and microclimate differences in the introduced areas, their overwintering conditions are different.
