瓦盆用粘土烧制而成,有橘红、瓦蓝两色。质地较粗糙,大小不一,规格较多。这种花盆有细微的孔隙,透气、排水良好,价格便宜,对植物生长十分有利,因而至今仍广泛应用于家庭盆栽花卉。但置于客厅、卧室却略显粗俗。为提高植物的观赏效果,可以在瓦盆外面再套上陶瓷盆,便可收到一举两得的效果。
