江苏省海门市东临黄海,南依长江,公元958年设县治,至今已有一千多年历史。1927年10月,这里成立了第一个中共海门县委,1929年2月成立了东乡工农兵苏维埃政府,1930年3月成立了中国工农红军第十四军第一支队。1938年初,这里成立抗日游击总队。1940年11月初,海门县抗日民主政府成立。从第一次国内革命战争至新中国成立,海门先后有1700多名在册革命烈士以及许多无名英雄为国家独立、民族解放、人民新生而英勇牺牲。
Haimen City, Jiangsu Province, east of the Yellow Sea, south according to the Yangtze River, set the county government in 958 AD, has been a thousand years of history. In October 1927, the first county party committee of the CPC, Haimen County, was established here. In February 1929, a government of the workers, peasants and soldiers of the Dongxiang Soviet government was established. In March 1930, the first detachment of the 14th Army of the Chinese Workers ’, Peasants’ Red Army was established. In early 1938, the Anti-Japanese Guerrilla Corps was established here. Early November 1940, Haimen anti-Japanese democratic government was established. From the time of the first domestic revolutionary war to the founding of new China, Haimen has over 1,700 revolutionary martyrs and many unnamed heroes who sacrificed heroically for national independence, national liberation and people’s rejuvenation.
