桉树原产澳洲,是桃金娘科桉属植物种类、的总称。因按树生长迅速、适应性强、用途很广和经济价值高的树种,目前世界上已有96个国家引种栽培。广西于1890年从法国引种,在龙州县种植的桉树,现在已有80多年的栽培历史。自此以后,从英国、澳大利亚、印度等国家逐年也引进不少桉树种类,现在全区约引种有89种,由于种间杂交引起变异,有些种类的形态区别极为细微而不易于识别,为此,我们根据有关桉树中、外文资料,初步整理出《桉属物种识别》资料。作简单介绍,以供各地参考。
