以美育代宗教说,1912年蔡元培先生在关于处理宗教问题上提出了“以美育代宗教说”。这个重要理论命题,彰显了儒家传统美育思想的当代价值。回想蔡元培先生一百多年前的主张,有必要探索一下美育在中国教育中的合理性,毕竟美育最早是由西方教育提出的一个观点。并且取代了儒家教育思想地位。笔者要论述的问题是“以美育代宗教”在中国真的有必要吗?真的有需要吗?
Aesthetic education on behalf of religious doctrine, in 1912, Mr. Cai Yuanpei put forward on the issue of dealing with religion “to aesthetic education on behalf of religion”. This important theoretical proposition demonstrates the contemporary value of Confucian traditional aesthetic education. Recalling Mr. Cai Yuanpei’s claim more than 100 years ago, it is necessary to explore the rationality of aesthetic education in Chinese education. After all, aesthetic education was first put forward by western education. And replaced the Confucian educational thought status. The author’s question is: Is it really necessary in China for aesthetic education to be a religion? Is it really necessary?
