中国共产党的历史从诞生到现在已69年了,前28年是新民主主义革命时期;后41年是社会主义时期。新民主主义时期党史,要加以研究和总结,社会主义时期党史,更需要研究和总结。今年3月份召开的全国党史工作部门负责人座谈会强调:在新的形势下,必须及时提出加强社会主义时期党史资料征编和专题研究工作的任务。北京作为首都、党中央的所在地,搞好社会主义时期北京党史资料征研工作更有其重要意义。

In March this year, the symposium for heads of department of CPC history work emphasized: Under the new situation, it is imperative to promptly put forward the task of strengthening the compilation and research of the history materials of the party history in the period of socialism. As the capital city and the seat of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, it is all the more important for Beijing to do a good job in requisitioning and collecting historical materials of the party in Beijing during the socialist period.
