The authors conducted a 24-month study of changes in mandibular resting position after removal of remaining teeth and wearing complete denture. A total of 24 patients, at least 10 teeth have occlusal contact. Each patient in the four periods before tooth extraction (1), after wearing the first 7 to 10 days (2), 12 months after wearing (3), 24 months after wearing (4) Lateral X-cephalometry film. Each X-ray film was measured and compared at two angles (N-S / Pog, N-S / Me-Go) and a linear (Me- PP). The percentage of changes in the vertical rest distances for each period is calculated from the pre-extraction measurements. The first to second phase was 2.87%, the first phase to the third phase 0.1%, the first phase to the fourth phase -0.495%. One-way ANOVA and F-test showed significant differences.
